Cheyenne Jungers

I am a New Mexican born and raised. I grew up in the cozy small town of Pecos NM and moved to Rio Rancho after school. I started with New Life Birth Services in 2022 but briefly traded in New Mexico's enchanting landscapes for the Saguaro Cacti of Arizona in 2023. Now, I am back and ready to continue my New Mexico doula journey right where I left off.

My journey to doula-hood started in 2017 but we decided to start a family and doula work was put on hold. I am armed with a bachelor's degree in Health Management but found my calling for hands-on, personal support in doula care after the birth of my 3rd daughter.  I am now a Certified Labor and Birth Support Specialist (fancy for Certified Birth Doula) through CornerStone and am currently in a Postpartum Nutrition Certification course through Postpartum University.

My biggest passion is supporting VBACs and those in the fourth trimester. I draw from my culture of African American and Latina traditions, which I incorporate into every family with warmth, understanding, and a sprinkle of cultural magic. I am a firm believer that doula care and support should be accessible to everyone. I like to educate and empower my families so they feel supported, heard, and respected at all times. Teaching and nourishing are essential during all aspects of life and even more so during pre-conception, throughout pregnancy, and the postpartum period.

When I am not busy tending to mamas, I can be found at home with my husband, three beautiful daughters, a pug, and a chihuahua. I enjoy crocheting, Halloween, baking, thrifting, plants, and food.

I am excited to be back and serving my community once more!
